Alexandre Heideker received a B.S. degree in computer science from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Santo Andre – Brazil, in 2011, an M.S. degree from the UFABC in 2016, and a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from UFABC in 2021 where he also had hold the position of researcher collaborator till 2023 in a post-doctoral research in Data Plane programmability using P4 in IoT devices.

His research interests include IoT, edge-cloud continuum, network softwarization, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV, a.k.a. drones).
